The boys basketball season is right around the corner! The first practice will be held on Monday, October 20th, 2025.
If your son is interested in participating this season, please read through and complete the sign-up form below as soon as possible:

Please complete the attached form and return it with payment to reserve your spot by this Thursday, October 9th.
Be sure to schedule a time to meet with your child's teacher to discuss their progress so far this school year.

As a reminder, October 9 is a 12:30 dismissal and there will be no school on October 10 or October 13.
Students will have time to shop the fair October 6-9 during the school day, and the book fair will be open to families during Parent Teacher Conferences October 9 from 3:30-7:30 PM and October 10 from 8:30 AM-12:30 PM.
Can't shop with us in-person? The online shop will be open until October 19.

Here are a few reminders for today:
Today is our first half day of the school year! All students must be picked up at 12:30 p.m. There will be no staff members available to supervise any children after this time. If your student attends the YMCA, please contact the office with their dismissal plan for today since there is no YMCA on half days.
Don't forget to join us tonight for movie night! The blacktop will open at 6:30 p.m. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase. All students MUST have an adult with them in order to attend. We also encourage appropriate attire for any community members attending. We can't wait to see you there!

It's time for another movie night! PTO will be hosting their annual movie night on Friday, September 12th at 6:30 p.m. Join us on the blacktop for a night of fun! Please see the flyer attached for more details. We can't wait to see you there!

We have officially welcomed the Rockdale staff to the 2025-2026 school year! It was a long day of trainings, meetings, and classroom set-up to get ready for our Rams to return on Friday! Welcome back, Rockdale staff!
Our arrival and dismissal procedures will stay the same for this school year. Please check your email for a reminder of Rockdale's procedures. Our priority is to make sure students arrive and leave school safely each day, and we need your help to make sure that happens.
School fees for the 25-26 school year have been uploaded to Teacher Ease. Please sign into your account prior to the beginning of the school year to pay the balance on your students' accounts. All sports and music fees must be paid before students can participate in these activities. If you need support with this, call the main office at 815-725-5321.
Finally, don't forget to join us for Open House on Thursday, August 14th from 4:00 p.m.-5:45 p.m. You can meet your teacher, drop off your supplies, and get ready for the new year! We will see you then!
