Thank you for your response to the Holiday Program RSVP form that was sent out on Friday, November 14th. Since all K-5 students will be participating in a performance on the same day, we quickly reached our gym capacity for the event, which is 253 available seats for audience members.
In order to ensure all students and families stay safe during the Holiday programs, we have revised the RSVP process for this event. All K-5 families MUST RSVP for the holiday program on Thursday, December 18th using the new form below (EVEN if you filled out the original form). We will not be accepting any walk-ins on the day of the performance. Families will be given up to three tickets for either the 10:00 a.m. performance or the 2:00 p.m. performance.
The RSVP form will be open until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 11th OR until all available spaces are filled. After this time, no additional RSVPs will be taken.
If your family requires more than three tickets, you will need to call the office, where your name will be put on a waitlist. Once we have closed the RSVP form on December 11th, we will assess how many seats are still available for each performance and contact families on the waitlist to let you know if additional tickets are available.

Happy Thanksgiving, Rockdale Rams! We are so grateful to have such a wonderful community of learners, staff, and families! On Tuesday, our Kindergarten and First Grade classes shared a Friendsgiving Feast. Their hallway was full of laughter and lots of snacks! Our kindergarten students have been hard at work learning with the Superkids! Last week they met Darshi and learned all about the letter D. On Friday, they joined Darshi for a Dino Dig and had a great time getting dirty while digging!
Last Friday, our 7th graders visited the Sky Deck at Willis Tower and the Chicago History Museum. They had a great time learning about the city! Thanks to Mr. Domenico and Mr. Olson for providing this great opportunity to our students! 🌭🍕🏙️

Don't forget, our annual Veteran's Day program will be held on Tuesday, November 11th at 2:00 p.m. If you would like to attend the event, please call Mrs. Flores in the main office to complete the pre check-in process. This will avoid any unnecessary lines at the door on the day of the event. Once you are checked in, Mrs. Flores will send your Raptor sticker home with your student. If you have any questions about this process, please call us at 815-725-5321. We are looking forward to seeing you there!

On Tuesday, November 5th, Mr. Olson took 10 of our middle school students to the Will County Regional Office of Education STEAM Fair at Joliet Junior College. Students got to explore exhibits from area leaders in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. Such an awesome experience for our Rams!

Miles of Smiles is coming to Rockdale! Through this program, your child can receive a full dental exam and cleaning during the school day at no cost to the school or families. Sign-up sheets were sent home with all students, but you can still sign up online! If you are interested in signing your child up for this opportunity, please see the attached flyers for directions. Starting today, November 3rd, Student Council will be hosting their annual "Stuff the Turkey" fundraising competition. They are asking students to bring in pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, and dollar bills to stuff their grade level turkey to see who can collect the most money for Student Council. The competition will run until Thursday, November 20th. A winner from each grade level band will be chosen at the end of the competition. May the best grade level win!
